Bear Paw Cafe in Port Wing

I got the California burger (lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo) with the fries. The fries are pretty unique and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they have Udi's buns for us gluten-free folk.

We stop in at the Bear Paw whenever we are in Port Wing. Their huge homemade caramel Rolls are to die for. We've never had a bad meal there. Their breakfast items are especially good, I also really like their chili. Their home made pies are good too.

Best breakfast around!! Shelly and family always kind. Love the homemade caramel rolls. Wish they were still open on Sundays 🙁

Great food friendly. On the south shore of lake superior. Good destination on the way to bayfield. Make the stop. Or camp in port wing and enjoy the area!

Good fun with the folks of up North

Honestly hate to give bad ratings but this cafe could have been better.... With a heavily sticky table top, every food we asked for they were out of, the waitress couldn't seem to listen to the words coming out of our mouths when we asked for specific foods, ie: "three pieces of chicken and mashed potatoes," for instance. She looked ridiculously confused 😂. We would not go back. We felt ignored the whole time we sat there. The cook came out to say they had no chicken gravy left (guess it's not "homemade" there lmao) so asked if we could change it to Beef gravy instead. Haha. Whatever, sure. We had to go walk up and get our bill/tab because waitress never came back to us to give it to us. Idk what the issue was but we were not impressed.

Looking for a local place in Northern Wisc to eat came across this great little place. Wonderful homemade Carmel pecan roll to start our breakfast off. Warm and friendly service. You know it's a great place when the locals are eating there.

Best sausage gravy i have ever had

Great place! Stopped there for lunch and was very pleased. We had wraps that were very large, easily split if you wish. And the fries were called sidewinders and very good. Home made chips. And very good service to boot! I would highly recommend!

Home town dinner. Not fancy in a good way. Killer food and prices. Go where the locals go. Busy.

Stopped in by recommendation. During Apple festival they served amazing apple jack pancakes!!!!Other family members have ate here several times and I definitely plan to be back - maybe tomorrow for breakfast!

A nice place to stop and get some pie and coffee. The interior is clean and comfortable. After spending the afternoon using their wifi and having dinner, the staff are super nice and the food is very good.

Food is amazing ! Lots of pride and TLC go into the preparation. The owners actually care about there customer and treat you like family!!!! As a Local guide I highly recommend trying this gem!!!

Hubby and I stopped in for lunch. Food was good and at a fair price. Too much mayo on my BLT. Slip sliding away constantly...Lol! 🤣 Blueberry pie was fantabulous! Alot of blueberries and crispy crust made an excellent dessert! 🍴.Homemade potato fries/chips...YUMM!!
